About the artist

A Saudi visual artist, born in Riyadh in 1988. She began self-taught, working from observation and steady practice, before deepening that grounding through specialist courses and workshops that carried her from pastime to professional practice. Her experience spans Arabic calligraphy and pottery, which gave her a visual sense with more than one dimension, before she settled on painting as the sustained path that carries her own way of seeing.

She has taken part in more than ten exhibitions, among them the Art & Design Souq at Misk Art Institute, and a number of her works have been acquired by government institutions.
